Foresight Solar News Round-Up: April 2025
Welcome to Foresight Solar's monthly round-up, where we share our latest news and initiatives. Each month, we highlight key achievements to keep you informed about our latest projects and industry insights.

April started with American president Donald Trump announcing across-the-board tariffs and shaking up global trade.
Looking at the disclosed details at the time, Foresight Solar’s fund manager Ross Driver commented on the potential impacts for renewable infrastructure investment trusts and FSFL.

Ross made an engaging presentation to retail investors at the Proactive One2One Investor Forum.
He described Foresight Solar’s operational and financial performance and the outlook for the fund. The slides and the video of the evening are available in the link.

A study from Lancaster University demonstrated the required footprint for solar farms for the UK to meet its Net Zero goals would be smaller than the area taken up by the country’s golf courses.

Closing out the month, we outlined the four pillars that make up Foresight Solar’s investment proposition: providing income and growth for shareholders, maintaining a geographically diversified portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, and leveraging specialist investment management.
Details on each will be set out in May, so stay tuned for more.
